Job summary

The Drake is seeking Seasonal Servers for the Drake Devonshire team to deliver exceptional hospitality in a high-volume setting.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of casual fine-dining experience, strong knowledge of food and beverages, and a passion for art and culture that aligns with Drake’s brand. This role offers competitive compensation, benefits, and training opportunities as part of joining our team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a high volume casual fine-dining setting.
• WSET, Prud’homme or other F&B training is a bonus.
• Team driven with strong guest focus.
• Familiarity with the Drake Brand and locations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create a world-class guest experience through Drake steps of service.
• Know all menu items to make informed recommendations.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and monitor quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure stations are stocked for service.
• Follow food safety standards and support the team during service.

We're currently seeking Seasonal Servers to join our Drake Devonshire team with a combination of skills and experience that include operational excellence in a high volume business, as well as a proven track record for outstanding food + beverage service, a solid understanding of events and team leadership. This role provides a unique opportunity for an experienced, passionate and innovative hospitality professional who is looking for a rewarding hospitality career.

Responsibilities

• Create a world-class guest experience through interaction and following Drake steps of service
• Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items in order to make recommendations
• Ensure accuracy when entering orders into the POS system
• Monitor food quality and presentation standards
• Monitor the cleanliness of section and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
• Follow all food safety standards and systems
• Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
• Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently
• Make sure server station is stocked and ready for service
• Perform assigned side work
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the management team

Requirements

• Experienced and reliable candidates should meet the following criteria:
• 2-3 years’ experience in a high volume, casual fine-dining establishment
• Passionate and knowledgeable about Food, Wine + Cocktails (WSET, Prud’hmme and/other Food + Beverage training a bonus)
• Team driven with extreme guest focus
• Enthusiastic about the Art + Culture offered at the Drake and is knowledgeable of the Drake Brand and other locations
• Able to manage a high volume of guests alone and with shared support
• Flexible with availability to work morning, evening, late-night and weekends
