Job summary

AGAT Laboratories in Mississauga is seeking a Seasonal Sample Receipt Technician to join our environmental team. This entry-level role supports the logistics chain by receiving, setting up, and moving samples, under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor, with a 12 PM–9 PM shift.

You will handle sample reception from clients and couriers, ensure proper unpacking and delivery to the lab, maintain a clean work area, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Limited to no logistics experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Customer service experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Reception of samples from clients and couriers.
• Ensure samples are unpacked and setup.
• Ensure samples are delivered to the lab in a timely manner.
• Inform required parties of sample integrity issues through verbal or written means.
• Preparation of sample kits as per client requirements.
• Ensure incoming non-sample deliveries are properly processed.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Responsible to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
