Job summary

You will drive sales through engagement, share product knowledge, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current promotions and safety standards. The starting wage is $16.15/hr, with a rotating schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and team player.
• Sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to work days/evening/weekends (rotating shifts).
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
• Clarify and understand customers’ needs and take them to the best solution for their projects.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
• Take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions
• Produce quotes, material lists and follows up
• Demonstrate high standards of safety and customer service
• Resolve customer challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Continually learn about products and market conditions
