Job summary

Kent Building Supplies is seeking a proactive Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales and support in-store operations. You will greet customers, provide product information and help coordinate deliveries while maintaining merchandising standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety consciousness, and willingness to learn about products and procedures. Prior retail experience is valued and opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy in the system when receiving or writing off products.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service – this includes greeting customers, providing information, completing sales, and arranging deliveries
• Maintain store standards – Inventory, Replenishment and Merchandising
• Learn about new products and attending department specific training when provided
• Work safely by following all safety standards.
• Prepare invoices, quotes, credit invoices and delivery invoices.
• Help store with the display of merchandising.
• Follow computerized operating system to keep inventory up-to-date in system if receiving new products or writing off the product through theft or damage.
