Job Overview

The Consultant is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience within multiple businesses (retail, rental, custom, and Omni-channel) within a store location. To be successful, the Consultant needs to support and positively impact a culture of customer obsession by being customer-ready and delivering a world-class experience each day. The Consultant is expected to engage as a member of a high-performing team through trust, commitment, and a focus on results. They must navigate change effectively to adapt to new programs and achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, the Consultant contributes to a positive work environment by working well with colleagues at all levels and demonstrating respect.

Essential Functions

1. Demonstrate sales techniques for retail, custom clothing, and special occasion rentals as trained and described in corporate materials.
2. Encourage and participate in team selling.
3. Build relationships with customers from greeting to post-sale contact.
4. Monitor and positively influence store sales volume and metrics. Achieve personal sales goals while maintaining quality.
5. Use tailors for alteration fittings when available; otherwise, accurately fit customers and recommend alterations.
6. Assist in receiving shipments, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store standards.
7. Assist with visual merchandising, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
8. Help monitor property security and report damages or missing products.
9. Participate in stock counts and report discrepancies.
10. Work as part of a team, supporting store goals and fostering a positive environment.
11. Adhere to anti-discrimination and harassment policies, reporting concerns appropriately.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk most of the shift, bend, squat, twist, lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and distinguish fabric patterns and colors.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.00/hr

Salary is determined based on skills, background, experience, and market location, with consideration for legal wage standards.
