Job summary

Mind Games is hiring Seasonal Sales Associates at the Quinte Mall in Belleville, ON. This part-time seasonal role involves greeting customers, processing payments on the POS, restocking, and helping maintain an engaging, visually appealing store.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (preferred) and prior retail or customer service experience. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required, with the ability to stand for long periods.

We are looking for a motivated, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. We are seeking Seasonal Sales Associates who are enthusiastic about our products, willing to learn, can contribute to achieving sales goals by creating great customer experiences, and can maintain a visually compelling store.

Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Greet customers, answer questions, build customer confidence, and recommend products based on their needs, providing exceptional customer service.
• Operate a POS system, accurately process payments, and issue receipts.
• Keep the store neat. This includes restocking products and ensuring that the store's inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
• Develop knowledge of the store's product lines, with attention to detail and the ability to answer customer questions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and provide advice on product selection, usage, care, and maintenance.
• Support the team in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals to drive store profitability.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming demeanor and greet customers upon arrival while checking out customers quickly and efficiently.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as directed by store management.
• Support seasonal promotions, merchandise displays, and inventory organization.
• Work collaboratively with other sales associates to maintain a positive shopping environment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Pay Rate (per hour): $17.95

This is a seasonal position.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications and skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail is an asset.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to adapt to the diverse needs of customers.
• Ability to multitask, respond to competing deadlines, and manage priorities effectively.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
• Passion or knowledge of pop culture and board games (preferred).
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds, with reasonable accommodation where required.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the seasonal period.
