Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Lethbridge, AB is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and operate checkout. You will also unload trucks, stock shelves, and ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

You will participate in omnichannel processes (BOPIS/SFS), maintain planograms, support safety programs and store procedures, and promote the Rewards program. Flexible hours including nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties, maintain planograms
• Assist with omnichannel processes (BOPIS and Ship From Store)
• Support safety programs and SOPs, ensure compliance with policies
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments
• Handle checkout and cash handling to standards
• Participate in stock recovery and in-store maintenance
