Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a valued Team Member for our Calgary store to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and maintain in-stock shelves. You will handle cash at checkout, participate in truck unloads, stocking, and planogram execution to uphold brand standards.

The role supports omni-channel processes, rewards enrollment, and VOC surveys, while adhering to SOPs. Evening, weekend, and early-morning shifts are required in a public retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Ability to stand long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Ensure fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, planograms and merchandised recovery to keep shelves in stock.
• Promote Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Support Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store.
