Job summary

Michaels in Victoria (Vancouver Island Langford area) is hiring for a team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist customers, and maintain a well‑merchandised store. You will participate in unloading, stocking, POS transactions, and engage customers with rewards and private label card enrollments.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience; work includes evenings and weekends in a climate-controlled store with benefits for team members.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; manage cash handling to standards
• Encourage enrollment in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery
• Perform in-store stock optimization and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model positive behavior
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
