Job summary

The Michaels Stores location in Langley, BC is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure quick, accurate checkout. You will engage customers with the rewards program, support omni-channel processes, and help keep shelves well-stocked and merchandised.

Roles include unloading trucks, stocking, and following store procedures; cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production, while maintaining a safe, courteous environment for customers and staff

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and providing solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with accurate cash handling
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollment
• Educate customers on VOC survey and channel feedback
• Support Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties
• Maintain in-stock shelves and perform merchandise recovery and returns processing
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs and company policies
