Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a seasonal Front End-Receiving Switchboard Outfitter in Vaughan. You will handle incoming calls, assist customers with buying decisions, and support store operations to deliver a legendary customer experience.

Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, this role emphasizes top-notch customer service, security of equipment, and collaboration across store areas. Prior switchboard or administrative experience is advantageous for success in this position.

Qualifications

• One or more years' experience in a service environment is preferred.
• Previous switchboard and administrative experience are an asset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP is an asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer's expectations.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's specific products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide a legendary customer experience for every customer and promote company programs.
• Receive and direct all incoming calls in a courteous and polite manner.
• Answer basic customer questions and make store announcements in a professional manner.
• Respond to and handle customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Secure and log keys, RF guns, radios and other equipment as assigned and ensure items are returned at store closing.
• Monitor and check items entering and leaving through the employee entrance such as, but not limited to: purchases, handbags, briefcases, coats, and lunch containers.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.

Summary:

Starting Pay Rate: $17.60 - $20.25
