Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a Class 3 Propane Delivery Driver to join our Dispatch team and safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers.

This seasonal position is based at the Horizon Facility in Fort McMurray, Alberta, with on-site accommodation and meals provided. You will load and unload propane, plan routes with the dispatch team, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and help ensure compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 Commercial Driver's license with Air endorsement.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Satisfactory driving record as demonstrated by a clean abstract.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload propane while adhering to regulations.
• Develop routes with dispatch using knowledge of geography and customer needs.
• Deliver to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and required paperwork.
• Report hazards to dispatch and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and adapt to varying shifts, including evenings/weekends.

Job Summary

As a Class 3 Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver products safely to customers while providing an essential service in a safety-focused environment. This seasonal opportunity is based at the Canadian National Resources Horizon Facility in Fort McMurray, Alberta and offers accommodation and amenities, ideal for candidates interested in camp-based work.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required.
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 3Commercial Driver's license with Air (Q endorsement)
• Minimum 3years of commercial driving experience
• Meets Company standards for a commercial driving record, as demonstrated by a satisfactory commercial driver's abstract.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
