Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a Class 3 Propane Delivery Driver for a seasonal role based at the Horizon Facility in Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will work with the Dispatch team to deliver propane safely to customers while supporting a safety-focused environment.

Accommodation and amenities are provided on site. This is a camp-based position with meals, transportation, and on-site housing included, ending around March 25, 2027.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 Commercial Driver's license with Air (Q endorsement)
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane
• Experience delivering propane preferred
• Ability to work various shifts and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Load and unload propane, adhering to Company and Government regulations.
• Develop routes with dispatch using knowledge of geography and customer needs.
• Deliver propane to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
• Report potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with company and government policies and regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and discussions.
• Work schedule may include evenings and/or weekends.

Job Summary

As a Class 3 Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver products safely to customers while providing an essential service in a safety-focused environment. This seasonal opportunity is based at the Canadian National Resources Horizon Facility in Fort McMurray, Alberta and offers accommodation and amenities, ideal for candidates interested in camp-based work.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required.
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 3Commercial Driver's license with Air (Q endorsement)
• Minimum 3years of commercial driving experience
• Meets Company standards for a commercial driving record, as demonstrated by a satisfactory commercial driver's abstract.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
