Job summary

Nature's Path in Delta, BC is seeking workers for day-to-day production roles on afternoon and night shifts. The position involves manual handling of products, packaging, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in a food manufacturing setting.

Shifts offer premiums for late hours, and candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 lbs, and work in a fast-paced team. Reliable transportation is preferred due to limited weekend bus routes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in food manufacturing preferred.
• Able to read, speak and understand English work directions.
• Positive attitude with a team player mindset.
• Demonstrates performance driven to meet target outputs and deadlines.
• Hard working, reliable, independent and self-motivated.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment.
• Maintains excellent attendance record.
• Non-slip shoes or steel-toe shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual lifting, stacking, loading and unloading (35 lbs).
• Able to move 35 lb baskets up to 45 times an hour on a rotational basis.
• Able to stand on feet up to 8 hours per day.
• Able to work in warm conditions.
• Assists in the direct handling of products.
• Labels and packages products.
• Builds cardboard boxes and trays.
• Participates in setup, take down and sanitation of all parts and equipment.
• Works with and near sanitizing chemicals.
• Maintains a very clean and organized work area.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Performs other assigned duties.

• Afternoon Shift: 14:20PM- 22:30PMwith $1.50 premium
• Night shift: 22:20 PM – 06:30 AM with $3.00 premium
• Must be available to work any day in a week including the weekends
• Must have reliable transportation due to limited bus routes on the weekends
