Shipping and Packaging Clerk - Evening Shift

Responsibilities
Receiving and Storage
- Receive, inspect, and store goods in accordance with orders and quality standards.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Verify the products and quantities received.
- Assist with inventory counts of raw materials and finished products.
Boxing and Packaging
- Assemble and package products in accordance with established packaging procedures.
- Handle priority orders.
- Enter production order data (confirm the number of cases produced).
- Manage equipment (prepare work materials, palletize products, retrieve racks from the freezer, and program the printer).
Palletizing and Shipping
- Palletizing: Confirm pallet numbers using a scanner and stretch-wrap pallets.
- Prepare sales orders received from the Sales Department.
Administrative and Computer System Tasks
- Complete all required documentation.
- Enter information into the computer system.
Quality and Health and Safety
- Follow quality and workplace health and safety standards at all times.
- Ensure that packaging and shipping operations run smoothly and that work areas are kept clean.
- Perform any other related duties.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of spoken and written French to understand work instructions, documents, and order-related information.
- Comfortable using computers and digital tools.
- Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (an asset).
- Ability to work in a limited-space environment with frequent movement of goods.
- Valid forklift operator certification (an asset).
- Ability to work in a freezer environment (-21°C) for 1 to 2 hours per day.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to work on your feet and lift up to 15 kg.
- Ability to maintain the required work pace.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
