Job summary

Ferrovial's Webber Canada unit is seeking a ground-level maintenance assistant to support contracted roadways maintenance, snow removal, and related tasks under the Area Supervisor. The role emphasizes safety, precise operation of load and unload tasks, and readiness for overtime or travel as required.

You will work outdoors in varied weather, use hand and power tools, and follow safety policies. A High School diploma and a valid Ontario G license are required, with training in traffic control

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license and clean record.
• Training in safety (WHMIS, first aid) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove snow and ice using snow removal equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials for winter operations.
• Maintain highways and surfaces by removing litter and debris.
• Operate vehicles and equipment for surface and right-of-way maintenance.
