Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support contracted highway assets in Ontario. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager/Area Supervisor, you will perform snow removal, repair surfaces, install reflectors, and operate road maintenance equipment, ensuring safety and adherence to contract standards.

The role requires a DZ license (AZ a plus), a High School Diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• DZ license with acceptable driving record; AZ a plus.
• Training in traffic control methods, first aid, WHMIS and related safety topics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Removal of snow and ice using snow removal and/or sanding equipment.
• Maintain and repair highway surfaces including signs, guardrails, fence, lighting, potholes and reflectors.
• Operate vehicles and equipment for surface and right-of-way maintenance and repair.
• Available for overtime, evenings, weekends, holidays and emergency rotations as needed.
