Ferrovial Construction is seeking a hands-on Labour/Operator to maintain roadways and related assets in the Ottawa area. You will operate snow removal equipment, perform repairs on signs and guardrails, and support traffic control initiatives.

The role requires a DZ license with a suitable driving record, and AZ is a plus. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifikationen

• Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors.
• Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license with clean record; AZ is a plus.
• Completion of traffic control, first aid, dangerous goods, WHMIS training.

Aufgaben

• Remove snow and ice using snow removal or sanding equipment.
• Repair/maintain highway surfaces, signs, guardrails, fences, and lighting.
• Operate vehicles and equipment for surface and right-of-way maintenance.
• Set up and remove traffic control; assist during emergencies; overtime possible.
