Job summary

Ferrovial Construction’s Webber is seeking a Seasonal Equipment Operator in Ontario to maintain contracted assets and operate heavy equipment during winter and summer seasons. The role includes snow plow duties, road surface maintenance, sign and guardrail work, and traffic control.

Required are a DZ license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with potential overtime evenings and weekends. Onsite training and travel coverage are offered as part of the seasonal benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in road maintenance or related field.
• Valid Ontario Class DZ license with clean driving record; AZ license a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow and sanding equipment during winter.
• Maintain and repair roads, signs, guardrails, lighting in summer.
• Set up and remove traffic controls; transport crew and gear.
• Participate in overtime, evenings, weekends, holidays as needed.
• Follow safety instructions and PPE requirements.
