Job summary

Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada is looking for a Seasonal Head Cook for the Ontario Pioneer Camp in Port Sydney, ON. The position runs from June 1 to September 4, 2026, with a possibility of long-term employment.

Ontario Pioneer Camp seeks a Seasonal Head Cook to join their Food Services team at the Ontario Pioneer Camp located in Port Sydney, ON from June 1 – September 4, 2026. Possibility for an ongoing full-time position after initial contract.

The Seasonal Head Cook is responsible for all aspects of running a kitchen during summer camp, including meal planning and preparation, kitchen cleanliness, guest interactions, inventory and supervision of both kitchen volunteers and colleagues.

Employment is conditional upon a clear police reference check. The successful candidate must be able to submit to InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement documents (Statement of Faith, Vision and Aims and Community Covenant).
