Position Overview

Join our team as a Seasonal Garden Centre Merchandiser and be part of a fast-paced, exciting seasonal environment! This role is ideal for gardening enthusiasts who enjoy outdoor work and creating inviting displays that delight customers and showcase our plants and flowers.

Responsibilities

1. Display Creation:
   • Set up and organize inventory efficiently.
   • Arrange products appealingly to attract customers.
2. Product Rotation & Maintenance:
   • Update displays regularly to feature new arrivals and promotions.
   • Ensure products are correctly priced with accurate signage.
   • Monitor and report damaged or unsellable merchandise.
3. Customer Engagement:
   • Assist customers with inquiries and garden advice.
   • Provide gardening tips to enhance customer experience.
4. Stocking & Inventory:
   • Maintain organized inventory and condense shelves as needed.
   • Collaborate with staff to replenish stock.
5. Visual Standards:
   • Keep displays clean, organized, and visually appealing.
   • Follow merchandising guidelines and seasonal themes.
6. Team Collaboration:
   • Work with team members to meet goals.
   • Communicate regularly with supervisors about inventory, customer feedback, and displays.

Qualifications

• Passion for gardening, outdoor living, and active lifestyle.
• Experience in retail or merchandising is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 45 lbs, in outdoor conditions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and thinking quickly.

• Seasonal position from late April to July.
