Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking Snow Plow Operators (Seasonal) for Barrie Transit. The role runs from November 2026 to March 2027, with a 40-hour work week, including overnight shifts from 9pm to 5:30am, and two consecutive days off per week. Wages start at $24.22/hour plus a $1 shift premium after 3pm, totaling $25.22/hour for eligible shifts.

• Must have a valid Ontario G driver's license.
• Minimum of 2 years driving with a clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean transit stops floors by sweeping and tidying.
• Gathers and empties trash; services stop supplies.
• Removes snow from sidewalks around stops with snow tools.
• Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures.
• Attend required safety meetings and training.
