Plow Truck Operator - 2026/27 Season

Job summary

Brimacombe Ski Area in Ontario is hiring Plow Truck Operators for the 2026/27 winter season on a seasonal, part-time contract. You will operate plow trucks to keep parking areas, access roads and paths clear, with days and evenings scheduled as weather demands.

The role requires a valid driver’s licence, ability to work in all weather, good communication and basic computer skills. Start date is Late November/Early December, and shifts are 3–4 per week based on weather.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Plow Truck and Tractor preferred.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge and comfort with computers and tablets.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• 25 years of age or older.
• Able to work with varying start times depending upon weather.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for snow removal on, and the general care and maintenance of all Brimacombe Parking areas, access roads, paths and throughways
• Change operational time signage in each parking lot daily or as required
• Maintain lines of communication with the General Manager, Outdoor Operations Manager, Department Manager, Snowmaking Team Leads and co-workers regarding hill conditions, facility/run/lift closures, special events, etc.
• Perform daily inspections on vehicles, on-snow vehicles and/or other pieces of equipment or methods of supplied transportation being utilized and provide accurate and legible inspection log sheet(s)
• Report daily facility opening and closings and all terrain conditions to the Ontario Snow Resorts Association web page
• Maintain parking lot bollard positions, signs and emptying garbage containers
• Maintain awareness and practice safe operational procedures and limitations of all related equipment
• Assist mobile equipment mechanic and/or maintenance department
• Maintain and complete, accurate and legible documentations of all required logs and journals that may be required of your position
• Charlie-Tango-Alpha-Foxtrot – using radios for communication
