Job summary

Bass Pro Shops Outpost Winnipeg is hosting a National Hiring Event for seasonal Events Associate roles. Onsite interviews will be conducted to fill multiple seasonal positions supporting store events and holiday activities.

As a Seasonal Events Associate, you’ll help run Santa’s Wonderland, coordinate family games, and ensure a festive experience for guests while handling transactions and assisting customers throughout the store.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Provide a legendary experience for every customer and promote Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s programs.
• Perform duties associated with store events.
• Use point-of-sale and inventory computer systems to accurately and quickly complete customer transactions following all policies, including those requiring identification and age checks.
• Process customer payment using debit, credit card, gift cards, and cash.
• Respond and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe at all times.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.

Summary:

Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, the Seasonal Events Associate performs duties associated with store events, participates in “short term” assignments and seasonal events to support the store as needed throughout the year.

Every holiday season, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s transform our stores into a festive wonderland with fun and games. Our Seasonal Events Associates act as “Santa’s Elves” executing the Santa’s Wonderland event, providing families with a free studio-quality photo with Santa, and facilitating various family games activities to help create unforgettable memories for our customers.
