Ferrovial's Webber Canada division seeks a road maintenance technician to keep roadways safe and functional. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, you'll maintain contracted assets and support snow removal, pothole repair, and vegetation control while complying with safety standards.

The role requires a DZ license and availability for evenings, weekends and holidays. Strong English communication and physical stamina are essential, with a pay range of 24–28 CAD per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years related work experience in construction, road maintenance, or outdoor contexts.
• Valid Ontario DZ driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Successful completion of training in traffic control methods, first aid, transportation of dangerous goods, WHMIS.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Removal of snow and ice using snow removal and/or sanding equipment.
• Maintain and repair highway surfaces including signs, guardrails, fences, lighting, potholes, striping, reflectors, litter and debris removal.
• Operate vehicles and equipment for surface and right-of-way maintenance and repair; repair/maintenance of slopes, berms, culverts, drains; manage vegetation.
• Traffic control setup and removal.
• Transport crew and equipment to work sites.
• Available for emergency response rotations including overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• All other duties as assigned.
