Job summary

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking a Seasonal Construction Worker in Fredericton to support field operations under the Technical Supervisor. You will assist in quantity calculations, set up and operate a Total Station Instrument, coordinate staff on site, and aid in sampling and concrete testing.

Based in Fredericton with a 40-hour work week and potential evenings/weekends, the role requires a high school diploma or GED, 6+ years related experience, and a valid NB

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of six (6) years related work experience.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.
• Written and spoken competence in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technical Supervisor with quantity calculations and setup/operations of a Total Station Instrument.
• Coordinate and provide instruction to employees on the job as required.
• Assist in taking samples and performing concrete testing.
