Job summary

Frontline Traffic Services in Moncton, NB is seeking a Traffic Control Agent to oversee a team of TCPs, coordinate daily site activities, and help establish a safe workplace for construction sites across New Brunswick. The role requires reliable, punctual individuals with strong communication, leadership, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Certification in TCP/TCA and a Class 5 license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
• Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.

• Valid TCP Certification.
• Valid TCA Certification.
• Valid Class 5 License an asset.

Responsibilities

• Set-up safe work zones using traffic cones, barrels and barricades.
• Plan detailed traffic control solutions based on customer needs and safe work practices.
• Responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists through work areas.
• Communicate with other TCPs in the workplace to regulate traffic safely.
• Monitor the safe work zones and correct compliance and personnel issues as they arise.
• Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
• Complete required administration and safety paperwork.
• Follow instructions given by Site Foreman, Site Supervisor, and Management.

We’re looking for reliable and hardworking people with experience in traffic control to join our team as a Traffic Control Agent (TCA). In this exciting role, you'll oversee a team of Traffic Control Person(s) (TCPs), coordinate daily site activities, and work with a foreman/contractor to establish a safe workplace for construction job sites around Moncton and other areas in New Brunswick.

We offer:

• Competitive wages starting at $20.00/hour for those with no drivers license or not in a driver role.
  
• Wages starting at $21.50/hour for applicants who will also be responsible for operating our company vehicles.
  • Drivers must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License and a clean drivers abstract.
