We are currently looking for Foreman on Concrete Forms and footings to work on construction projects in and around greater Moncton.

Job Description

Formwork and footings foreman to provide daily concrete and carpentry skilled work as required on concrete and general construction projects. Individuals are to perform safely in accordance with local safety legislation and company policies, while ensuring work is performed with a high level of quality and timeliness.

Duties
  • Assist with layout of foundation walls.
  • Construction, erection, and installation of wood formwork systems for columns and walls.
  • Align, straighten, plumb, brace and square forms.
  • Install form ties, rebar and misc. formwork hardware.
  • Erect and build scaffolding for access to pour.
  • Assist with pouring concrete in walls.
  • Operate concrete power vibrators.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Install anchor bolts and embedded steel for concrete.
  • Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, formwork and other temporary structures after concrete pour.
  • General understanding of using basic tools.
  • Experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
  • Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, and repetitive tasks.
  • Safety-oriented, hard-working, team player.
  • Physically demanding: bending, crouching, kneeling, carrying heavy material.
  • Must have own vehicle to travel to work.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
