Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Barrie, ON seeks a Seasonal Cashier to greet customers at the checkout and provide a legendary experience. You will handle transactions, verify IDs when required, and promote Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s programs.

This role requires strong customer service, basic math, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Starting pay is $17.95–$20.25 per hour with benefits available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in sales or service preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers during checkout.
• Process payments using debit, credit, gift cards, and cash.
• Use SAP POS to complete transactions following policies.
• Assist in opening and closing duties and store tasks as needed.
• Address customer issues and escalate to management when needed.
• Assist other store areas as required.
