If you are looking for a team that brings out the best in each other, has fun, and takes pride in their work, we want to hear from you. The Four Points by Sheraton - Kelowna Airport and Hampton Inn & Suites Kelowna are currently seeking a Seasonal Assistant Housekeeping Manager.

We are conveniently located on a bus route, with a stop just outside the hotel, and our complimentary shuttle service also picks up employees from the UBCO bus loop.


What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Director of Rooms, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are followed consistently during daily operations.
  • Championing Brand Standards and Expectations.
  • Completing all Brand Training requirements.
  • Cleaning guest rooms, stayover cleans, public areas, and assisting with laundry operations.
  • Leading room inspections, controlling quality, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Managing labor costs effectively based on business levels.
  • Managing expenses within budget.
  • Coaching, training, and developing supervisors.
  • Leading performance reviews.
  • Managing supplies and inventory efficiently.
  • Overseeing linen inventory checks and par levels.
  • Assisting in scheduling.
  • Ensuring smooth day-to-day housekeeping operations, including regular communication with team members and maintenance logging.
  • Training and onboarding new team members.
  • Communicating daily priorities to Room Attendants.
  • Participating in daily briefings and department meetings.
  • Developing a strong team through effective leadership.
  • Delegating tasks appropriately.
  • Collaborating with the Front Desk to handle guest requests promptly.
  • Leading projects as needed.
  • Managing lost and found procedures.
  • Responding efficiently to guest and coworker feedback.
  • Providing performance management.
  • Maintaining an open-door policy with team members.
  • Performing housekeeping duties as needed, demonstrating a hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Managing conflicts that arise during operations.
  • Participating in the hotel health and safety program, ensuring compliance with WHMIS and safety policies.
  • Working varied shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays.
  • Assisting other departments and cross-training at sister properties.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.
