Job description

Our client, a leading global marketing agency, is seeking a passionate colleague to bolster their SEO team in Montreal.

You’ll work on innovative projects in Display, SEM, and SEO, developing 360 media strategies for local, national, and international brands in Canada and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop SEO strategies and objectives based on client KPIs and goals.
  • Research to understand target audiences, brand positioning, market category, and competitive landscape.
  • Perform keyword research to create relevant keyword lists for new and existing programs.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations, including :
  • URL structure
  • Schema markup
  • Navigation structure
  • Canonicalization issues
  • Internal linking
  • HTML and XML sitemaps
  • Title tags, headers, image alt texts, and meta descriptions
  • Social SEO recommendations
  • Optimize on-page elements based on keyword research and program goals, while supporting off-page tactics like article syndication and domain authority improvement.
  • Resolve campaign errors and issues promptly or escalate as needed.
  • Provide technical campaign insights during client calls and support account teams.
  • Present SEO audit and performance reports to clients and account managers.
  • Suggest content improvements to drive organic traffic.
  • Expand keyword strategies, including identifying target and negative keywords where applicable.
  • Monitor key performance indicators with tools like Google Analytics to identify opportunities and issues.
  • Stay updated on search marketing trends through research, networking, blogs, and industry forums.
  • Share SEO knowledge and insights on emerging trends and industry advancements.
  • Demonstrate expertise with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
