The Code Crackers is seeking an experienced Scrum Master in Canada (Toronto area) to guide agile teams through delivery, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong stakeholder management, excellent communication, and the ability to coach teams toward self-organization in a fast-paced environment.
Project Methodology certifications such as Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma Black/Green/Yellow Belt, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile certifications. Strong understanding of both Scrum methodology and business analysis frameworks. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and processes, particularly CI/CD pipelines. Advanced Certifications: PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certifications are highly desirable. Experience in DevOps Environments: Previous experience as a Scrum Master and Business Analyst within a DevOps setting, bridging the gap between development and operations teams. Familiarity with DevOps Tools: Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes. Experience with Cloud and Containerization Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and tools like Docker or Kubernetes. Software Development Background: Experience in software development is advantageous, enabling better communication with technical teams. Industry Knowledge: Experience in industries like finance, healthcare, or other regulated sectors is preferred.
Scrum and Agile Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead Agile ceremonies and implement Scrum principles effectively across development teams. Business Process Modeling: Proficiency in modeling current and future business processes using tools like BPMN and process flow diagrams. Requirements Gathering: Strong expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and process documents. Backlog Management: Experience collaborating with Product Owners to manage product backlogs, ensuring the highest-priority work well-defined and ready for development. Gap Analysis and Problem‑Solving: Ability to perform gap analysis, identifying areas for process improvement and making recommendations. Agile Metrics Management: Skilled in tracking and analyzing Agile metrics (e.g., Burndown charts, Velocity) to drive team performance improvements. Stakeholder Engagement: Expertise to manage and balance stakeholder needs while ensuring alignment with development priorities. Conflict Resolution: Experience resolving conflicts within the team and between stakeholders to maintain harmony and productivity.
