Job summary

First National Financial LP is seeking a Scrum Master for IT Application Management in Toronto. You will guide the development team through Scrum ceremonies, coach agile practices, and help the team become high-performing.

Reporting to the AVP IT Applications & QA, you’ll remove impediments, protect the team, and collaborate with product partners to deliver reliable software solutions in a fast-paced environment within First National’s modern office setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Experience coaching Agile teams and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and remove impediments.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving tech.
• AML requirements awareness where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coach Scrum ceremonies: planning, daily Scrum, reviews, retrospectives.
• Support self‑organizing cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to drive decisions.
• Remove impediments and protect team from distractions.
• Contribute to Agile practice improvements.
