Job summary

Join the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto as a lead for Recreational Programs, overseeing a portfolio of engaging science programs for children, families and groups. You will support and lead a team, identify revenue opportunities, and ensure high-quality program delivery.

You will plan, deliver, and evaluate programs such as camps and special events, while overseeing budgeting, administrative duties, and customer service excellence. A commitment to inclusion and accessibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Must be certified in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C before start date and maintain it during employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate science programs, including camps, birthday parties and Kids Night Out, for children, families, and recreational groups.
• Find opportunities to increase revenue through new programs and maximizing existing programs and resources.
• Oversee administrative operations, financial tracking, budget monitoring, and program performance.
• Promote excellent customer service in all areas of the organization.
• Foster a team environment that reflects the organization's values and supports a diverse, inclusive, equitable, and accessible workplace.
