This position includes potential residency at a camp during the operational season.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy and communication.
• Experience working with people with sight loss is an asset.
• Current Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check required within 6 months of start date.
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR “C” certification required.
• Ability to work flexible hours as well as standard camp hours in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support recreation programs for various guest demographics.
• Facilitate sensory-room sessions for guests.
• Complete documentation regarding guest experiences.
• Assist guests with daily life skills as needed.
• Take an active role in dining room duties.
• Be part of the emergency response team on a rotational basis.
