Qualifications

  • Master's degree in school psychology or related field with focus on schooling.
  • Registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (CPBC).
  • Experience administering and interpreting cognitive and achievement tests.

Responsibilities

  • Use psycho-educational assessment methods for referred students.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current assessment measures.
  • Utilize diverse data for student program planning.
  • Collaborate with staff on strategies, assessments and interventions.
  • Interpret data for identification, placement or referrals.
  • Serve as a resource for families and school teams.
  • Work with community agencies to provide assessment data and transition planning.
