TEACHING POSITION

Assignment: School Psychologist

The assignment may change due to the itinerant nature of the position, or to meet the needs of the school's educational program, grade organization, and/or enrolment.

1.00 FTE CONTINUING

Commencing January 1, 2027 or possibly sooner.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Use valid psycho-educational, formal and informal, assessment methods for assessing referred students;
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current, effective assessment measures;
  • Facilitate the use of a variety of assessment data for student program planning;
  • Collaborate with school staff regarding developmentally appropriate strategies, assessments, and interventions for students;
  • Interpret data for the appropriate identification, placement, or referral for medical professional assessment/interventions;
