Job summary

SE Health is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join the care team at Talbot Trail Public School in Windsor, Ontario. This full-time role offers daytime hours (7 AM–3 PM), comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to deliver high-quality pediatric and community-based nursing care on campus.

You'll assess students, develop care plans, and coordinate with school staff and community services to support wellbeing and safety. CPR certification and Ontario registration are required.

Qualifications

  • Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Availability to work days (7AM-3PM).
  • Immunization records, clear criminal background check, and Vulnerable sector check required on hire.
  • Willingness to attain SE Health certifications.
  • Current CPR certificate is required.
  • Physically demanding position requiring varied movements.

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive client assessments, develop care plans, implement and evaluate care based on best evidence/practices and client needs.
  • When designated as primary provider, act as care lead for the client caseload and collaborate with the care team.
  • Support clients through transitions by connecting with community support services.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete comprehensive client assessments, develop care plans, implement and evaluate care based on best evidence/practices and on client’s unique needs
  • When designated as a primary provider for a client caseload, you will be the point of care lead accountable for their care while working in collaboration with other care team members and the support functions.
  • Support the client through care transitions by collaborating and connecting the client with community support services in their local community.
Requirements:
  • Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Availability to work days (7AM-3PM).
  • Updated immunization records, clear criminal background check, and Vulnerable sector check are required upon hire.
  • A willingness to attain required SE Health certifications
  • A current CPR certificate is required.
  • This is a physically demanding position and requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling/squatting, reaching chest and waist level (i.e. shoulder flexion), and numerous hand grips of varying forces.
