Qualifications

• Two-year community college library technician program completed.
• Minimum 6 months related job experience preferred.
• Familiarity with computers and AV equipment; ability to conduct preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school resource collections including purchasing, cataloguing, circulation and annual inventory.
• Assist in planning annual estimates for school library needs.
• Send overdue notices and compile lists of overdue materials.
• Bulletin board preparation and shelf reading.
• Assist students with library and research skills; support literacy initiatives.
• Organize book fairs and promotional activities; assist staff with resources.
• Other related duties as assigned.
