Principal Education in Edmonton, North London invites a School Caretaker to join our welcoming school community. You will secure the premises each day, perform checks on buildings and grounds, and carry out basic maintenance to keep the site safe and well presented.

Responsabilités

• Opening and securing the school premises each day.
• Carrying out daily checks of the school buildings, grounds and facilities.
• Undertaking general maintenance, repairs and basic DIY.
• Ensuring the school site is safe, clean and well presented.
• Responding promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies.
• Monitoring heating, lighting, water and other building services.
• Maintaining school grounds, including basic gardening and outdoor upkeep.
• Setting up and moving furniture and equipment when required.
• Liaising with contractors and supervising external maintenance work.
• Supporting the school with health and safety checks.
• Maintaining appropriate records of inspections and repairs.
• Reporting any hazards, damage or security concerns to the appropriate member of staff.

Salary: £28,(Apply online only)-£32,(Apply online only) per annum, depending on experience

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
