Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Facility Maintenance professional to support busy school environments with preventive and demand maintenance tasks. You will manage work orders in QFM, source tools, and coordinate materials while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Strong communication and the ability to work both independently and within a team are essential. The role offers weekday hours, on-site work in classroom settings, and a union-supported benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent would be considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, troubleshooting, repair and replacement.
• Proficient in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to unscheduled maintenance in school facilities.
• Update, complete and close work orders in the CMMS (QFM).
• Source, plan and organize tools and materials for daily tasks and projects.
• Maintain inventory levels for assigned sites and ensure safety procedures are followed.
