Qualifications

• Two-year diploma in Disability Studies plus three years of pediatric experience.
• Knowledge of applied behaviour analysis and positive behaviour supports.
• CPR/First Aid knowledge and safety awareness.
• Awareness of educational inclusion principles and 21st-century skills.
• Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft and Apple iPads in classroom settings.
• Understanding of TABT Standards of Practice and professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement classroom programs/strategies per EBS guidance.
• Monitor progress and record effectiveness of strategies.
• Collaborate with MDT and classroom team; attend meetings as required.
• Assist in delivering professional development to school staff.
• Support student life skill development and BSP implementation.
• Observe student progress and provide data and notes for MDT.
• Provide information to the EBS and teachers to adjust programming.
