Job summary

Edmonton Catholic Schools is seeking a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst to assess and address challenging behaviors, develop individualized interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster inclusive education and student success.

The role requires BACB compliance, trauma-informed practice, data-based decision making, and staff training, with 35 hours per week, temporary status, and a focus on safeguarding and ethically guided practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or related field.
• BCBA credentials.
• Minimum 2000 hours of formal training and supervision in ethics, assessment, intervention, progress monitoring, and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Intervention design and implementation for students with challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with MDTs to develop individualized plans.
• Provide training to staff on behavior intervention strategies.
• Collect and graph data to evaluate intervention effectiveness.
• Develop and monitor Crisis Management Plans for high-risk students.
• Ensure adherence to BACB ethics and professional standards.
