Job summary

Edmonton Catholic Schools is hiring Casual Therapeutic Assistants - Behavioural Therapy to provide behavioural support for students from Pre-K to Grade 12 within inclusive classrooms. You will work with a classroom team led by the teacher and collaborate with Behavioural Specialists, MDT members, and parents.

This role is managed by the Behavioural Therapy Manager and supervised by the school Principal, with responsibilities across planning, progress notes, and program delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Disability Studies or related field.
• Three years directly pediatric experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of applied behaviour analysis and positive supports.
• Strong verbal and written English communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement classroom-based programs/strategies for identified children.
• Develop group activities to support developmental skills in class.
• Maintain records of planned programs and child progress.
• Monitor effectiveness of strategies and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, MDT members and parents.
