Job Summary:
Kinark Child and Family Services is on the look out for a Scheduling Coordinator in Autism Services. Reporting to the Program Manager – Autism, the Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the overall scheduling of full-time and part-time Instructor Therapists for our centre-based, home-based, and virtual ABA programs for children and youth receiving behavioural services. This position will work alongside the clinical team to assist with the planning and coordinating of staff schedules across location. Specifically, this position responds to short notice absence calls and creates staff schedules based on staff availability and client specific schedules, client cancellations, time-off requests, vacant positions, and training cycles. In addition, this position is responsible for payroll data entry and expense submissions.
This is a full-time position (35 hours/week) and requires the successful candidate to be available in the morning (from 7 AM) and on some weekends. You will be required to work out of various Kinark sites from time to time based on operational needs. As well, you may be assigned to work in different programs and services within the Autism division of Kinark and your primary work location may be reassigned within a 50-kilometer radius based on operational needs.
Although this position will have the option for remote work, the position requires on-site work at various Kinark locations to meet program needs.
Qualifications:
• Related post-secondary education.**
• Candidates must have strong computer skills and be proficient in Outlook and Excel.
• Experience working with Kronos and Peoplesoft platforms would be an asset.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently and respond to last minute changes.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, time-management and communication skills.
• Experience creating schedules across multiple teams is an asset.
• The successful candidate must have a valid Ontario driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to obtain automobile insurance which includes driving for business purposes with a minimum liability of one million dollars.
• Knowledge concerning cultural diversity and proficiency in other languages will be considered assets.
