Job description

The Scheduler is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of healthcare services delivered in the community. This includes developing, preparing, and adjusting schedules based on referrals, care plans, and collective agreements, as well as providing guidance to staff.

Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience
  • Grade 12, Office Administration Certificate, and recent, related experience of two years or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, such as post-secondary courses in healthcare or social services, or other relevant qualifications.
Skills and Abilities
  • Keyboard at 50 wpm.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with others.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work within multiple deadlines.
  • Operate related equipment.
  • Physically capable of performing the duties of the position.
