Job summary

Responsibilities include deploying, configuring and managing SCADA software, developing real-time screens, maintaining data, and generating reports. The candidate will collaborate with Operations to integrate new assets and data sources, and perform point testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Technologist diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant SCADA experience in power generation is preferred.
• Experience with Unix environments and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, configuration and management of SCADA systems.
• Develop graphical screens for real-time data, trends, alarms, and interfaces.
• Perform backups and provide data retrieval and reporting support.
• Coordinate with regional operations for asset integration and commissioning.
• Collaborate with networking and systems teams for new acquisitions.
