York Region invites applications for a PCS/SCADA Systems Integration and Automation Specialist to support Water and Waste Water operations. You will create and update PAC/HMI programs, troubleshoot PCS/SCADA issues, develop control narratives, P&IDs, manuals and alarm management, and oversee PCS/SCADA contractors.

Qualifications

• Three-year Community College Diploma in Automation or Control Systems Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with industrial automation and SCADA in water/wastewater settings.
• Knowledge of control narratives, P&IDs and alarm management.

Responsibilities

• Create/update PAC/HMI programs, docs and drawings.
• Troubleshoot PCS/SCADA problems with operations staff.
• Develop Control Narratives, P&IDs, manuals, alarms.
• Oversee PCS/SCADA contractors and project coordination.
• Lead upgrades and new PCS/SCADA projects in the region.
• Support standards development for PCS/SCADA systems.
