GreenFirst Forest Products in Kapuskasing, ON is seeking a reliable Sawmill Cleaner to join our team. You will help keep the mill clean and safe, supporting day-to-day activities and training on entry-level production roles when needed.

This hands-on role requires punctuality, safety mindedness, and the ability to work in an industrial setting with sawdust and noise. 3-week rotating schedule; multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a safety‑minded approach.
• Ability to work independently in an industrial setting.
• Comfortable handling manual cleaning duties around machinery.

Responsabilités

• Clean and maintain designated areas of the sawmill, including floors and walkways.
• Sweep, shovel, and remove sawdust and debris as required.
• Empty garbage containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow safety policies and housekeeping standards.
• Identify and report safety hazards to supervision.
• Perform other cleaning duties and provide relief in production when needed.
• Participate in a 3‑week rotating schedule (Day, Night, Evening).
