Overview:
Reporting to the Manager IT - SAP Operations, in this role, you will collaborate with key business resources and colleagues, providing SAP Functional support for SAP ERP SD (Sales & Distribution) modules. Your technical skills are essential to identify root causes of issues and develop solutions for projects, support, and impacts. You will also support users and other IT groups across multiple SAP production instances.
- Understand business needs and changes to assess and identify impacts of those changes.
- Maintain good relationships with key business stakeholders to proactively identify future needs, follow up on solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Capture, analyze, translate, and document business requirements.
- Evaluate requests to identify impacts to other modules and groups, as well as request categories (Nice to have/Defect/Enhancement).
- Develop test plans and scenarios related to changes and impacted areas.
- Configure solutions, perform unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate implementations, documentation (Solution Design/Functional Specifications/Change Requests/Test Plans/Cutover Plans), and activities for change requests, including ticket management.
- Ensure compliance with Domtar’s internal and external audit policies and controls.
- Provide Level 1 and 2 support for SAP production environments.
- Be available during business hours and as needed after hours for operational and project support.
- Transfer knowledge and coach colleagues when needed.
- Communicate issues, requests, and solutions effectively to requesters, management, and colleagues.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills.
- Deal flexibly with difficult situations, manage customer expectations, and adapt communication styles.

Your profile/Required Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role within an Order-To-Cash environment, with experience in EDI functionality.
- Experience configuring and delivering SAP modules including Enterprise Structure, Sales, Shipping, Transportation, Route Determination, Billing, Pricing, Promotions, Rebates, Outputs, Account Determination, Taxes, Inter-company processes, Variant Configuration, and SD integration points.
- Experience with interfaces, reporting, conversions, and workflows.
Assets:
- Experience with SAP Process Orchestration (PO) for EDI mapping.
- Knowledge of the Pulp & Paper Industry.
- Experience creating and using LSMW and/or WinShuttle tools.
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM & Q-Gate).
- Experience with EDI transmissions such as EDI 850, 855, 856 inbound and outbound.
